 Welcome! Welcome to Octavia's Beads! In these pages you will find unique, ladylike, elegant jewelry and hair ornaments that answer to a new idea of femininity. My work is inspired by the Victorian era, Art Nouveau painting, and the gypsy aesthetic. I am fascinated by shadowboxes, taxidermy, hair ornaments, and head wear of all sorts from the mid-1800s through the 1930s. Birds and leaves pop up frequently in my work. No two pieces are exactly alike, and I strive to create pieces with care and attention to detail that will wear beautifully for years to come. Many of the items featured on this page have already been purchased or were special orders.
